어머니의 건강신념이 아동의 건강신념과 치과의료이용행태에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract
결론
저자는 이리시 3개 국민학교 4, 5, 6학년 아동과 그들의 어머니 2,000명을 대상으로 구강건
강과 관련된 행동을 평가하기 위하여 사회 심리학적 모형 중의 하나인 건강신념 모형을 구
성하고 설문조사법을 통하여 자료를 수집한 후 어머니의 건강신념과 아동의 하루 잇솔질 횟
수와의 관계, 어머니와 아동의 건강신념과 아동의 예방적 치과방문횟수와의 상관성 및 치과
방문 횟수와의 상관성을 분석하는 과정에서 다음과 같은 지견을 얻었다.
1. 어머니와 아동의 건강신념간의 상관성은 감수성, 심각성, 유익성, 중요도, 장애도의 각
항목간에 서로 통계학적으로 유의한 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타나 어머니의 건상 신념이 아
동의 건강신념에 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
2. 어머니의 건상신념 중 중요도와 아동의 건강신념 중 감수성, 심각성, 유익성 중요도는
아동의 예방적 치과방문횟수와 통계학적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었다.
3. 어머니의 아동의 건강신념과 아동의 하루 잇솔질 횟수와의 관계에서 하루 2회이상 잇솔
질을 하는 아동이 1회 이하 잇솔질을 하고 있는 아동에 비해 아동의 감수성이 높았던 것으
로 나타났으며, 그 외의 어머니와 아동의 건강신념 항목은 유의한 차이가 없었다.
4. 어머니의 감수성, 심각성 그리고 아동의 감수성, 심각성, 유익성의 항목이 아동의 치과방
문 횟수와 서로 통계학적으로 유의한 정상관례가 있었다.
5. 아동의 치과 방문 유무에 따른 어머니와 아동의 건강신념의 차이는 어머니의 감수성과
심각성 그리고 아동의 감수성과 심각성 및 유익성, 중요성, 장애도 그리고 아동의 중요성 및
장애도와는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다.

The purpose of study was to know the effect of mothers' health belief on children's
health belief and dental health behavior. One thousand children and their mothers were
selected for the study. The children were fourth grade to sixth grade in elementary
schools in Iri city, Korea. Using the 'Health Belief Model' a questionnaire was
constructed and sent to and answered by the children and their mothers. An
examination and comparison of the relationships between mothers' health belief and
children's health belief, between of preventive dental visit and frequence of treatment
dental visit were analyzed. The results were as follows ;
1. The mothers' health was significantly correlated with their children's health belief in
each factor(susceptibility, seriousness, benefit, salience and barrier)
2. The frequence of children's preventive dental visit was significantly correlated with
mothers' salience and children's suceptibility, seriousness, benefit and salience.
3. Susceptibility of the children who brushed their teeth more than two times a day
was higher than that of the children who brushed their teeth one time a day.
4. The frequency of children's dental visit was significantly correlated with mothers'
susceptibility, seriousness and children's susceptibilty, seriousness, benefit.
5. The difference in health belief between children and their mothers who had dental
visit and those who did not have dental visit was significant in mothers' susceptibility
and seriouseness and in children's susceptibility, seriousness and benefit.
